Terms of Service

1. What lingflex is

lingflex is a web application for learning English: lessons, vocabulary, grammar and exercises. The service is provided “as is” and keeps evolving: we may add, change or remove individual features.

These Terms are a public offer — a proposal to enter into a contract on the terms described here. The contract is concluded when you create an account; the paid subscription contract, when you confirm payment. The owner of the service and party to the contract is named in the details at the top of this page.

2. Your account

• Learning requires an account — with a password or through Google.
• Use a real email address: confirmations and account recovery go there.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken under your account.
• One account is meant for one person; sharing access is not allowed.
• Tell us as soon as possible if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Free level and subscription

• The A1 level is free and requires no card.
• One exception: the Texts module requires an active subscription at every level, including A1.
• Access to further levels is provided by subscription, which renews automatically until you cancel it.
• Payment is handled by a payment provider; card details never reach us.
• A level opened during an active subscription stays accessible after the subscription ends.
• You can cancel any time in your profile — access remains until the end of the paid period.
• The price, currency and billing period are shown on the payment page before you confirm. By confirming payment you agree to that amount being charged regularly until you cancel.
• If the price changes, we tell you in advance; the new price applies from the next period, and you can cancel before it starts.

Refunds. The A1 level is free precisely so you can judge the service before paying, so we do not refund a subscription period you have already used, and cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding the current one. If the service was down through our fault for a significant part of a paid period, or you were charged by mistake, write to our contact address — we will look into it and refund that period.

Because access to paid content opens immediately after payment, you agree to the service being provided right away. This does not take away the consumer rights the law gives you.

4. Content and rights

Lessons, texts, translations, explanations, audio and the application code belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own learning.

Copying, publishing, reselling or using the materials to build a competing product is not allowed.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break the service, bypass access restrictions or overload it with automated requests.
• Do not bulk-download the materials or use them to train your own models.
• Do not use the service for unlawful activity.
• We may rate-limit or temporarily block access when we see abuse.

6. No warranties

We do our best to keep the service stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of bugs, or any specific learning outcome. Your language level depends on your practice, not on a tool alone.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit or data loss.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated — with notice where possible.

8. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The update date is shown at the top; we will announce material changes on the website or by email. Continued use of the service means you accept the new version.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We try to resolve disputes by correspondence first — write to us and we will reply.
