Ступені порівняння: прикметники й прислівники

Прикметник порівнює речі: cheaper, the cheapest, as fast as. Прислівник порівнює дії — за тими самими правилами: works more quietly, charges the fastest.

Який? — прикметник: a quiet laptop, it's quieter. Як? — прислівник після дії: it works quietly, more quietly.

Або -er, або more — ніколи разом. Після as … — знову as, не than.
