Один предмет

There isatablein the kitchen.

Скорочується лише there is → there's.

Кілька предметів

There arethreewindowsin the living room.

there are пишемо повністю.

Місце — в кінець

На століваза.

There'sa vaseon the table.

Можна й на початок, але з комою: In the bedroom, there's a bed now.

some — «кілька» / «трохи»

There are some tomatoes.Є кілька помідорів. (множина)

There's some coffee too.Ще є трохи кави. (незлічуване)

These apples are from my garden. Some are for you!Кілька — для тебе!

У запереченні й питанні замість some — any: Are there any shops? — далі в U9.

Перелік: дивимось на перший предмет
